Police responded to a river rescue near the Coplay-Northampton Bridge.

The department responded to a fire alarm in the 200 block of South Fifth Street.

Suspicious activity in the 200 block of Chestnut Street was reported.

Officers responded to a complaint of a dog left in a vehicle in the parking lot of Giant.

Police assisted with a civil matter in the 1000 block of Catherine Drive.

Police investigated a report of a disorderly group at the gas station of Giant.
