The Macungie Band will play a concert at the open-air pavilion at Cedar View Apartments, 4234 Dorney Park Road, Allentown. Director Michael Moran will give the downbeat 7 p.m. There will be some folding chairs; however, attendees should bring a lawn chair to ensure a place to sit. There is plenty of close parking. Drive past the pavilion and turn left into the parking lot.

Emmaus community yard sales. No permits are required to participate.

St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church community yard sale, 150 Elm St., Emmaus, to benefit mission and ministry, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Gently used clothing, furniture, home decor, small appliances etc. will be available for sale. The rain date is June 2.

Annual Harry S Truman Elementary School Ice Cream Festival, noon to 4 p.m. on the school grounds, 1400 Gaskill Ave., Allentown. Event includes games, food, activities and ice cream. Volunteers are needed. Contact the school at 610-791-2800 to volunteer.

Kiwanis Club of Emmaus 46th annual all-you-can-eat pancake festival 8 a.m. to noon at Emaus Fire Company #1, Sixth and Broad streets, Emmaus. The Emmaus Garden Club will meet noon at Faith Presbyterian Church, 3002 N. Second St., Emmaus. The program will be “Beekeeping in America: Promoting the Medical and Historical Aspects of Keeping Bees” by Frank Licata. Think you know a lot about bees? Think again! Frank, a master beekeeper, will educate and entertain. Honey and products made with honey, such as soaps and lotions, will be available for sale. Guests are always welcome.
