UPPER MACUNGIE: Upper Macungie offering dog park etiquette class
Upper Macungie Township, in partnership with Passion for Paws, is hosting a dog park etiquette class and fundraiser 2-3 p.m. on June 1 at Upper Macungie Park, 1625 Route 100, Fogelsville.
Proceeds go toward the maintenance of township dog parks.
A good citizen test is included in the fee for training. Seating is limited.
The township is offering a children’s business fair 5 p.m. June 7 at Lone Lane Park, 30 Lone Lane, Upper Macungie.
Young entrepreneurs can promote and sell their products at this fair and keep any revenue.

The township will show “The Lego Movie 2” the same day at Lone Lane Park. Pre-movie activities start at 7 p.m.

Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Avenue, South Whitehall Township, is offering “Estate Planning in the Digital Age” 2:30 p.m. May 29 in the Upper Macungie Township meeting room, 8330 Schantz Road, Breinigsville.
This presentation will be led by an elder law attorney who will review the fundamentals of estate planning and administration and important considerations regarding technology and the Internet.
The library will show the movie “First Reformed” at 1 p.m. June 3.
Maker Monday for children age 4 through first grade is scheduled for 5 p.m. June 3.
There will be a story time and time to make a project. Children entering kindergarten through second grade will explore a variety of art and STEM-related activities.
The library is hosting Angie Gillian with the Salvation Army Children’s Services for an Foster Care and Adoption information session 5-6 p.m. June 4.
Join Jennifer West, physical therapist and site manager with Good Shepherd Rehabilitation, Schnecksville, for a talk about preventing falls 2:30 p.m. June 5.
All these programs are free and held at the library except the estate planning discussion.

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1028 Church St., Fogelsville, will have its annual Community Memorial Day Service 10 a.m. on May 27 at the Fogelsville Cemetery.
The service will be lead by Pastor Nelson Quinones and the Robert M. Fegely VFW Post 8282, Breinigsville, with assistance from Boy and Girls Scouts.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
The church will be switching to its summer worship schedule. Worship will be at 9:30 a.m. and there will be no Sunday School beginning June 2.
A Father’s Day brunch for fathers, grandfathers and fathers-in-law will be held after the worship service June 9.
