Fun Day on June 8

Muslims

Lehigh Valley’s largest Eid celebration will return to Cover Bridge Park, Wehr Mill Road, South Whitehall, from 10 a.m.- 7 p.m. June 8.

Now in its seventh year, the festival - with an emphasis on community and family - has grown in numbers since its inception.

Eid al-Fitr is an important religious holiday which concludes the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

Festivalgoers can take part in activities such as a dunk tank, 18 different rides, pony rides, food stalls, sporting events such as soccer, basketball, cricket and much more.

This event will be buzzing with stalls showcasing an array of products and services for all the family. There will be Islamic clothing, perfumes and oils, jewelry and accessories, and health and beauty products. Rain date is June 9.

“Lehigh Muslim Fun Day embodies our three objectives: promoting Muslim unity, educating society about Islam and being active in community service,” Mohammed Khaku said.

“We put together an exciting day of activities to instill the spirit of brotherhood and bring the community together.”
