Special to The 12th annual Native American powwow will take place May 17-19 at Ontelaunee Park.

Then on May 25, the NWL Educational Foundation will sponsor a Tiger 5K Run and Fun Walk at the park beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Proceeds of the race will help to raise funds for special educational tools and other needed items for teachers and students.

The clothing closet at Ebenezer UCC will be open 6- 8 p.m. June 13, and 10 a.m. to noon June 15.

Clothing is available for the entire family.

Take as much as needed. Proof of need is not required.

Jacob’s Church, New Tripoli, is once again hosting the Life Line Screening with appointments 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 31.

They will offer ultrasound screenings to identify risk factors for cardiovascular disease and an osteoporosis risk assessment for men and women.
