Three people face simple assault and other charges after a verbal confrontation escalated into a fight at Big Woody’s Sports Bar and Restaurant, 3941 Chestnut St., Upper Milford Township, 12:43 a.m. March 8. According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, Gary Wayne Dottery, 28, of Laurys Station, Nicholas Aaron Remaly, 38, of Emmaus and Audrey Jennifer Andrews, 29, of Emmaus, were patrons at the restaurant when Andrews allegedly attempted to take Dottery’s pool cue and an argument erupted in the parking lot at the restaurant. Andrews then allegedly struck Dottery several times. Remaly then allegedly pushed Dottery and Dottery allegedly struck Remaly in the face. Charges in the incident included harassment, theft, simple assault and disorderly conduct, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville .
A 48-year-old male, of Upper Milford Township, was charged with scattering rubbish after he threw and/or smashed beer bottles in a creek adjacent to his home along Vera Cruz Road between 8:38 p.m. April 7 and 3:29 a.m. April 8.
Unknown actors used the credit card information of a 33-year-old female, of Emmaus, to complete six transactions totaling $110.38 at a location on Westminster Drive, Lower Milford Township, between April 22 and 23.
Pennsylvania State Police troopers responded to a location in the 4000 block of Miller Avenue, Upper Milford Township, 3:45 a.m. March 29 on reports of two people overdosing on heroin. EMS arrived on the scene and administered additional amounts of Narcan to the victims. Both were transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 73-year-old female, of Lower Macungie Township, was scammed into purchasing $2,500 worth of Google Play cards and giving the card numbers to an unknown person over the phone April 15.
