Any Catasauqua High School senior who would like to attend the coffee and doughnut reception at St. John Fisher Church June 2 should pick up a form in the CHS guidance office.

Mass is scheduled to begin 8:30 a.m., and the reception will begin after Mass is over.

Sign-ups for fall sports and activities are now taking place in the CHS athletic office. Students wishing to participate in cross-country, field hockey, football cheerleading, football, boys soccer, girls soccer, girls volleyball and marching band should sign up now.

Gracedale Nursing Home is offering a free certified nursing assistant training program approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Classes will be every six weeks and are scheduled 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Paid positions may be offered after successful completion of the course.
