Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.
APRIL 17
Criminal mischief - a garbage can painted pink - in the 300 block of East 12th Street was reported.
APRIL 18
A report of a theft in the 300 block of East 12th Street brought out police to investigate. An outside table was taken from a residence, the report said.
APRIL 20
A hit-and-run accident in the 2000 block of Center Street occurred. Police said a vehicle was struck while parked, causing damage to the front passenger-side fender.
APRIL 21
Officers checked the area of the 600 block of Buckingham Drive for a report of shots being fired.
APRIL 22
Members of the department investigated a report of a male causing a disturbance in the unit block of West 21st Street.
A warrant was served in the 2300 block of Dewey Avenue, police said. A male with an active warrant out of Carbon County was taken into custody, transported to headquarters and released to a Carbon County sheriff.
APRIL 24
Officer Buchanan and K-9 Vito assisted North Catasauqua Police Department in tracking a male who fled an accident scene in the 1300 block of Third Street.
The department received a report from a male claiming someone was threatening to beat him up; a fight occurred in the 1000 block of Main Street.
A domestic dispute between a male and a female took place in the 1600 block of Railroad Street.
APRIL 25
Police assisted Lehigh County Probation in serving a warrant on a male in the 2600 block of Main Street.
APRIL 26
In the 1800 block of Main Street, a hit and run occurred. A legally parked vehicle was stuck, damaging the driver-side mirror.
A male and a female causing a disturbance in the 1600 block of Railroad Street was reported.
APRIL 30
Officers checked on the welfare of a female in the 2300 block of Dewey Avenue.
MAY 1
Suspicious activity - ID fraud - in the 300 block of East Fifth Street was reported.
Police investigated a report of a suspicious person in 600 block of Walker Drive.
An ordinance violation investigation took place in the 1300 block of Newport Avenue.
MAY 3
A domestic dispute between a male and a female occurred in the 1400 block of Poplar Street.
A female harassing another female by text and voice message in the 900 block of Main Street was reported.
MAY 4
Officers checked on the welfare of a female in the 2200 block of Washington Avenue.
MAY 6
Two males causing a disturbance in the 1600 block of Railroad Street was investigated.
Police responded to a neighbor complaint in the 1600 block of Main Street.
MAY 8
In the 100 block of West 17th Street, members of the department investigated a report of a neighbor harassing another neighbor.
MAY 9
Suspicious activity in the 1700 block of Main Street was reported. Two suspicious males were on bikes.
