Heavy rains are forcing the East Penn Conference and Colonial League to alter their league playoffs, and there was also a change to the District 11 track and field meet scheduled for this week.

Districts

The District 11 track and field meet scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday of this week has been pushed back a day. The meet will now take place Wednesday and Thursday, May 15 and 16, at Whitehall High School. Event schedules will remain the same with Tuesday’s events moving to Wednesday and Wednesday’s events moving to Thursday.

EPC

The EPC softball semifinals scheduled for Monday have been pushed back to Tuesday.

That will feature Parkland vs. Freedom at 4 p.m. at Nazareth, and Northampton vs. Emmaus at 6 p.m. at Parkland.

If unable to play Tuesday, sites and times will remain the same for Wednesday.

The finals are scheduled for Patriot’s Park at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 16.

Colonial

The Colonial baseball playoffs have been altered as well, moving from Tuesday to Wednesday.

Southern Lehigh will play Northwestern at 4:30 p.m. at Lehigh County Community College while Notre Dame and Wilson play at Easton High School at 4:30 p.m.

The Colonial League Baseball Championship will still be played on Thursday, May 16th at LCCC.
