UPPER MACUNGIE TOWNSHIP: Good Will Fire Co. cooking up breakfast

Good Will Fire Company No. 1, Trexlertown, 7723 Hamilton Blvd., Breinigsville, is cooking up breakfast 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 12.

Breakfast includes two eggs, choice of two meats (bacon, ham, sausage or mackerel) and one to three pancakes, home fries, toast, coffee, juice and water.

Upper Macungie Township has partnered with certified tennis professional Brian Bleam to host tennis clinics for all levels at Ricky Park, 5875 Ricky Ridge Trial, Orefield, and Blue Barn Park, 5770 Snowy Orchid, Allentown.

Adult and junior tennis, session one, will take place until June 5.

Ladies Rise and Rock Tennis, session one, will be offered May 13-29

There is a fee to attend and registration is required.

The township is accepting applications for its 2019 Junior Emergency Services Academy, a weeklong experience for kids to learn the fundamentals of first-responder professionals.

The academy will take place 9 a.m.-4 p.m. July 22-26 at Upper Macungie Station 56, 6510 Schantz Road.

Enrollees must be township residents between the ages of 12 to 16 by the first day of class.

Class sizes are limited.
