A resident of the 7300 block of Sauerkraut Lane, Lower Macungie Township, contacted Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville April 3 to report providing banking and personal information to receive a refund from a retailer. The resident was told to purchase gift cards and provide the gift card numbers and pin numbers to process the refund. The total loss to the victim was $7,500.

A resident of the 5700 block of Whitemarsh Drive, Lower Macungie Township, contacted Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville March 9 to reported an account was opened in her name without her authorization. Anyone with information pertaining to the incident is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville at 610-395-1438.

Craig Anderson Bordner, 68, of Allentown, was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:45 a.m. Feb. 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Maria May Ringler, 28, of Palmerton, allegedly was driving under the influence of alcohol when a trooper conducted a traffic stop for several traffic violations at the intersection of Brookside Road and Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:37 a.m. March 10, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Nicholas Colin Shealey, 31, of Emmaus, allegedly was driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of traffic stop on Main Road West at Jasper Road, 1:37 a.m. Feb. 28, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 20-year-old male, of Alburtis, allegedly was driving under the influence of a controlled substance at the time of a traffic stop along Buckeye Road at Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:32 a.m. Feb. 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 23-year-old male, of Catasauqua, was ejected from his vehicle in a one vehicle accident in Lower Macungie Township, 9:23 p.m. March 1. According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, the male admitted he was drinking prior to the accident.

In a media release, police provided the following details: The driver was traveling eastbound on Holbens Valley Road before traveling off the right shoulder at the intersection with Route 100 and striking a center barrier and an embankment.

The driver sustained possible neck and back injuries in the crash, police said.

His vehicle was towed from the scene.

Cetronia EMS also responded.

An unknown person used the identity and credit card information of a resident of the 4400 block of Fairview Court, Upper Milford Township, to make fraudulent transactions on the resident’s Home Depot credit card at Home Depot. One fraudulent transaction was made March 18 for approximately $1,200 and a second transaction was made March 19 for approximately $690.

An unknown person used the credit card information of a resident of Shimerville Road, Upper Milford Township, to make $288 in fraudulent charges March 13.

An unknown person used the credit card information of a resident of the 4400 block of Fairview Court, Upper Milford Township, to make $736.70 in fraudulent charges at Home Depot March 19.

Steven Gomez, 21, of Breinigsville, allegedly was in possession of a small amount of marijuana after a traffic stop along U.S. Route 222 South at Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:35 p.m. March 26, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Michael Thomas Hill, 21, of Downingtown, allegedly was found to be in possession of a controlled substance during a traffic stop on U.S. Route 222 and Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, April 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 14-year-old male, of Emmaus, allegedly struck a 13-year-old male, of Allentown, at a location in the 5200 block of Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:30 p.m. March 19.

A 41-year-old male, of New Jersey, allegedly grabbed a 22-year-old female by the hair and pulled her to the ground when a verbal argument escalated while they were in the parking lot of the Trivet Family Restaurant, 4690 Buckeye Road, Upper Milford Township, 9:20 p.m. March 21.

Louis Charles Roche III, 27, of Macungie, allegedly shoved another person when an argument escalated in the 5900 block of Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:53 a.m. April 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. During the investigation, Roche allegedly was found to be in possession of a controlled substance, according to police

An unknown person used the identity of a resident of the 6900 block of Hearth Lane, Lower Macungie Township, to open a credit card and make purchases totaling $256.98 Jan. 24. The incident was reported March 2 at Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A Lower Macungie Township resident reported to police an unknown person accessed personal information to open a fraudulent eBay account store and attempted to make fraudulent purchases. There was no monetary loss associated with this incident at this time, according to police.

Mattaus Sebastian Lagler, 28, of Macungie, was taken into custody for alleged indecent assault in the 6000 block of Hauser Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:30 a.m. April 6, after an incident, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Sylvia Paulette Collazo, 39, of Allentown, was taken into custody after she allegedly placed two pairs of shoes into her purse and attempted to exit the store without purchasing the shoes from Marshalls discount department store, 6900 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 7 p.m. April 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 44-year-old male, of Allentown, was placed into custody for retail theft after he removed merchandise valued at $27 from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:01 a.m. March 28.

A resident of the 1400 block of Limeport Pike, Lower Milford Township, reported being scammed out of approximately $41,000 between Jan. 22 and March 1 by someone posing as a federal agent.

Car keys were reported stolen from a room within Genesis Center in the 1700 block of Spring Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, between 2:30 and 2:45 p.m. April 8.

An unknown person entered a residence in the 5000 block of Greens Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 4:30 a.m. March 22 and removed several items with a total value of $225.

A resident of the 7200 block of Dragonfly Court, Lower Macungie Township, reported an unknown person forged multiple checks to withdraw $5,000 from the resident’s checking account between March 19 and 27.

A resident of Shimerville Road, Upper Milford Township, reported an unknown actor made a fraudulent copy of the resident’s check and cashed the check, resulting in a loss of $21,000, between Jan. 16 and 18, Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Two residences in the 5600 block of Wedge Lane, Lower Macungie Township, were damaged between March 23 and April 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
