On Jan. 17, 2017, New Tripoli Bank broke ground for its newest office at 4892 Buckeye Road.

Fast forward to Jan. 18 of this year, New Tripoli Bank opened its doors on Buckeye Road and is excited to serve the community.

“The demographics showed this area was in need of a community bank,” President and CEO, Chairman of the Board David R. Hunsicker said.

Hunsicker said surveys show the Buckeye Road area is growing and prosperous and New Tripoli Bank wanted to be a part of it.

“Since 1910, we have been an independent bank which will allow us to continue well into the future,” Hunsicker said.

There are 62 employees of New Tripoli Bank with 10 dedicated to the Buckeye Road facility. New Tripoli Bank is locally owned and staffed. There is a branch in New Tripoli and one in Orefield as well.

Hunsicker has been with the bank for 46 years and started as a customer service representative in New Tripoli.

The motto of New Tripoli Bank is “Because people are more valuable than money.”

Hunsicker explains New Tripoli Bank customers enjoy and expect good service.

Education is also important to Hunsicker. The new facility, with 15,000 square feet, has a training room which seats 70 people to hold seminars and educational opportunities for employees.

Of the newest location, Vice President, Senior Branch Manager, Relationship Banking Officer Sundra Bachman said the customers are happy to have a community bank in their area.

“It is the customer service they receive which makes us different,” Bachman said.
