A Macungie man was pronounced dead after a two-vehicle collision in Macungie borough May 4.
According to a media release from the County of Lehigh Office of the Coroner and Forensics Center, Bennie Howard, 50, was pronounced dead 7:55 a.m. in the 200 block of West Main Street by Chief Deputy Coroner Andrew H. Kehm.
The collision occurred at approximately 7:19 a.m. According to authorities, Howard was the operator of a vehicle when it collided with another vehicle.
An autopsy was scheduled May 6 to determine cause and manner of death.
The Macungie Police Department, the Alburtis Police Department, Pennsylvania State Police and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s office also are among investigating agencies.
