VETERANS

State Rep. Ryan Mackenzie, R-134th, will host a veterans assistance day 10 a.m.-1 p.m. May 10 in his district office in the Lower Macungie Township administration building, 3402 Brookside Road.

An American Legion outreach specialist will be available to answer questions about benefits and services available to veterans and their families.

Services available to veterans and their dependents include assistance with compensation, pension, death benefits, education and health care and issues pertaining to veterans benefits. Veterans do not need to be a member of the American Legion.

Appointments to talk with an outreach specialist are offered the second Friday of each month.
