BACH CHOIR
The Bach Choir of Bethlehem will host the 112th annual Bach Festival May 10 to 18.
The festival opens 8 p.m. May 10 at Packer Memorial Church, 18 University Drive and continues May 11 and 12 and May 18 and 19 at various Lehigh University and Moravian community locations.
There will be guest artists-in-residence, featured young musicians, lectures and chorale sings with the audience.
The highlight of the event is the performance of the Mass in B Minor by J.S. Bach, first premiered in America at the first Bethlehem Bach Festival in 1900.

The National Museum of Industrial History is honoring the nearly 50 years since the groundbreaking of Martin Tower prior to its implosion this month with a 2 p.m. May 11 lecture, “The Unique Birth of Martin Tower” with retired licensed professional engineer Gordon Baker.
He helped develop and implement a computerized system that produced the drawings needed to fabricate Martin Tower’s beams and columns and later supervised the fabrication of the tower’s steel.

BETHLEHEM
The Boutique at the Rink’s 45th annual fund- raiser to benefit the Cancer Support Community, St. Luke’s Cancer Center and St. Luke’s Hospice, will be held May 28 to June 1
The event will be held at the Earl E. Schaffer Municipal Ice Rink, 345 Illick’s Mill Road.
Approximately 5,000 community members participate in the Boutique at the Rink each year by shopping, donating, volunteering or sponsoring.
