Roughies Report: Two CHS seniors are honored

Congratulations to seniors Amy Huber and Brandon Norton, who were selected as Catasauqua High School’s Colonial League Academic All-Stars for the 2018-19 school year. Both students were honored, along with student athletes from the other 12 Colonial League schools at the recent Colonial League Academic All-Star breakfast at Green Pond Country Club.

Post-graduation plans for Huber include attending Kutztown University to major in elementary education.

Norton will attend Wilkes University, majoring in secondary education.

May 10 is the last day for seniors to submit their Whitehead Scholarship application to the CHS guidance office. Regardless of your post-graduation plans, if you are graduating in June, you are eligible to apply.

See Mrs. Semmel, Mr. Lenert or Mr. Anthony for an application.

Sign-ups for fall sports/activities are now taking place in the CHS athletic office.

If you are interested in participating in cross-country, field hockey, football cheerleading, football, boys soccer, girls soccer, girls volleyball or marching band, sign up now!

SMX is currently hiring people for the Zulily warehouse located on Emery Street in Bethlehem. Positions are available with starting pay up to $13 per hour.
