Northampton: Scouts plan dinner, rummage sale

Boy Scout Troop 93 will hold a rummage sale 10 a.m.-6 p.m. May 10 and 9 a.m.-noon May 11 in the parking lot of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 1856 Lincoln Ave.

Those planning to attend can pay what they think is a fair price for the items they wish to buy. All unsold items will then be donated to Purple Heart Veterans Fund.

The troop will hold a spaghetti dinner 4-7 p.m. May 11 in the social hall of the church.

There is a cost. Children ages 6 and under eat for free. Proceeds benefit the troop.

An all-you-can-eat pork and sauerkraut dinner will be held 4-7 p.m. May 11 at Grace United Church of Christ, 902 Lincoln Ave.

The menu includes pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, green beans, applesauce, rolls, dessert and beverages.

Tickets can be purchased at the door. Takeout is available.

There will also be a mini basket social and a bake sale.

Wheels on the Canal will be held 10 a.m.-3 p.m. May 18 at Canal Street Park. Rain date is May 19.

The event includes a craft and vendor fair. Proceeds benefit Mission 22 and Blue Star Mothers.

The 28th annual Wynnewood Estates garage/yard sale is set for 7 a.m.-3 p.m. May 25.

There will be more than 50 families participating in the sale.

Travel east on 10th Street from Main Street. Turn left onto Atlas Lane and continue to Buckingham Drive.
