Virginia D. “Ginny” Shoemaker, 80, of Trexlertown, died April 26, 2019, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She and her husband Russell L. Shoemaker were married 60 years.

Born Aug. 3, 1938, in Jacksonville, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Fred and Emma (Morton) Marshburn.

She was a member of Morgenland Church, Orefield.

She enjoyed eating breakfast at Bear Swamp Diner, taking trips to North Carolina to visit family, attending yard sales and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by a son Russell L. Jr. and his wife, Sharon, of Allentown; brother Fred “Tommy” Marshburn and his wife, Diane, of Jacksonville; grandchildren Anthony and his wife, Kacy, Zachary, Jessica and Jay; beloved family member Lisa Shoemaker of Emmaus; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Richard N.
