Fun, Fun, Fun: Civic Theatre of Allentown presents the Lehigh Valley production premiere of “Fun Home,” May 3-19. The Tony Award-winning musical traces the coming-of-age of lesbian author Alison Bechdel, from her youth, to her years at Oberlin College, and to the present. Alison reflects on her past, struggling to make sense of it, particularly her relationship with her father, Bruce, and her brothers, John and Christian. Music is by Jeanine Tesori. Book and lyrics are by Lisa Kron, based on the memoir, “Fun Home: A Family Tragicomic,” by Alison Bechdel. Director and Choreographer is William Ross Sanders. Music Director is Nick Conti.
