To celebrate the 150th anniversary of Coplay, the library’s display case will feature items from Coplay High School throughout May.

Come to the library to reminisce or see photos and other objects related to Coplay students and schools. Many of the display items have been generously lent to help mark the anniversary.

The items found in the time capsule buried in 1969 are also on display.

If you have any photographs, mementos or keepsakes of Coplay or its past or current residents, we would love to include them in the remaining months.

If you have any items related to sports in Coplay, please call the library or stop in when we’re open. Sports will be the featured topic for June.

Even though the library has two big book sales per year, there is always a selection of books, CDs, DVDs and more on sales shelves and a book cart on the main floor. Prices are the same as our regular sales.

Donations can be dropped off during open hours. The library no longer accepts VHS tapes, sets of encyclopedias or textbooks. Do not bring torn, dirty, marked or written-in items.

If you want to know if you have a book that has monetary value before donating it, check with bookfinder.com.

The next sale will be in October.
