PSPCA
Over the course of the last several months, the Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has rescued cats from terrible conditions, often referred to as hoarding houses, finding numerous cats who are under-socialized to humans.
These cats are often rescued from cruelty and neglect and are not accustomed to human contact.
The Pennsylvania SPCA works to find live outcomes for all of these animals, including adoption, rescue and in this case creating a working cats program.
A working cat is a cat that is not well-suited for a home environment, but rather would thrive as an outdoor or indoor/outdoor cat.
All of the working cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, ear tipped, fully vaccinated and feline immunodeficiency virus and feline leukemia tested.
All they need is food and water daily, shelter, and veterinary care when necessary.
