A purple mini backpack was recovered from a park bench in Lower Macungie Park, Snowberry Court, 4 p.m. April 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Three Allentown men face theft charges after a traffic stop on State Route 29/Chestnut Street in the area of Ramer Road, Upper Milford Township, March 1.
According to a media release from Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, the incident unfolded as follows: At approximately 2:32 a.m., a trooper stopped a Nissan Altima for vehicle code violations. The vehicle allegedly was driven by a 20-year old male. A probable cause search was conducted and a small amount of marijuana was allegedly recovered from A 19-year old male and a .32 caliber Colt firearm was found in the vehicle. A wallet belonging to the victim of a theft from a motor vehicle in Lower Macungie Township also was found in the vehicle, according to police. The two males and an 18-year-old male, also a passenger, were all charged with alleged theft from a motor vehicle and related charges. The 20-year-old male also was charged with one count of firearms not to be carried without a license, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A woman is being sought by Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville after she entered a business in the 7500 block of Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township and proceeded to defecate and walk around the business spreading fecal matter causing damage to approximately 500 feet of carpet 3 p.m. March 17. The woman is described as approximately 6 feet tall with shoulder length gray hair. She was wearing a blue jacket and carrying a large pink purse. She was seen leaving the business in what appeared to a 2016-2018 red Honda Accord. An unknown person entered a residence in the 5300 block of Macungie Mountain Road, Upper Milford Township, between 6:30 a.m. Feb. 23 and 4:30 p.m. Feb. 28. The person entered the residence through a basement window, resulting in $200 damage, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
An unknown person entered a residence along Schantz Road, Upper Milford Township, between midnight and 6 a.m. Feb. 26.
Two residents in the 5200 block of South Mountain Drive, Upper Milford Township, reported two windows were broken and property was removed from the basement of the home between 6 p.m. Feb. 20 and 1:10 p.m. Feb. 24.
