Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 2181 Washington Ave., will host a breakfast 8:30 a.m.-noon April 28.

The menu includes the usual favorites. This month’s special is creamed chipped beef on toast.

The 67th annual Festival of Bands will be held 2:30 p.m. April 28 in the auditorium of Northampton Area High School, 1619 Laubach Ave. The event, featuring the Allentown, Marine, Municipal and Pioneer bands, will present a pops concert with music from the 1960s, ‘70s and ‘80s. The NAHS jazz ensemble will be a special guest.

Wheels on the Canal will be held 10 a.m.-3 p.m. May 18 at Canal Street Park. Rain date is May 19.

The event includes a craft and vendor fair. Proceeds benefit Mission 22 and Blue Star Mothers.
