There will be a cash bingo 2 p.m. April 28 at the West Catasauqua Park building, 2301 Pine St. Doors open 1 p.m.

There is a cost as well as specials. There will be a 50/25/25 raffle and gift card basket raffle.

Refreshments will be available for purchase.

All proceeds go to benefit the programs for the Whitehall Active Community Center.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church will be having a slow pitch softball team again this year. The games start 6 p.m. May 5.

St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., will be having a bake sale with the Bakery Nook May 17.

Orders will be taken for funny cakes and wet-bottom shoofly pies. Deadline for orders is May 5.

Pickup is noon-1 p.m. May 17 in room 201 or in the lounge after each worship service May 19.
