Emily Wells has been named Girl of the Month for February by Woman’s Club of Whitehall Township.
She is a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Wells, of Whitehall.
Wells has earned high honor roll for all marking periods.
She has been a member of Zephyr Nation, SADD, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Outdoors Club for three years. She participated on the track and field team and the field hockey team, where she served as captain her senior year.
Wells belongs to National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and the Science, Spanish and English Honor societies. She served as the Class of 2019 vice president in both ninth and 10th grades.
She is a Student Athlete Character Council representative, as well as a field hockey scholar athlete. Wells was named to the second all-conference field hockey team and was a track and field medalist.
She is also a participant in the Emerging Health Professionals program.
Wells is an Allentown City Outreach program volunteer and a Bible camp youth adviser. She participates in indoor track and field and is a member of the club track and field team.
She plans to attend Moravian College to major in biology on a pre-med track. She will continue with field hockey as well.
