The National Museum of Industrial History summer camp 2019, “We Built This City: Engineering a City from the Ground Up,” will be held 10 a.m.-2 p.m. July 8-12 and 15-9 for grades 4 through 6. The daily programs begin at the museum, 602 E. Third St.
Campers will learn to think critically and strategically about topography and infrastructure such as terrain and waterways, urban, suburban and rural features and how utilities are distributed.
Child release consent forms are due on the first day of camp, preferably in person by a parent. Campers will not be released to anyone other than those individuals listed on the consent form.
There is a cost, which includes a T-shirt, project book and four family passes to the museum. Campers will be responsible for bringing their own lunches.
