Happy 150th anniversary, Coplay!

Come into the library to see the displays of items, many generously lent to the library, to help mark this milestone. You can also view the items from the recent time capsule opening.

If you have any photographs, mementos or keepsakes of Coplay, we would love to display them. Anything you could tell us about the objects would also be a great help. We will display your name with the items if you wish. If you have any items, call the library or stop in.

During the month of April, we will be highlighting the 1969 Centennial and subsequent important historical events.

Thank you for attending the recent book and bake sale. Many thanks also to those who donated materials, baked and/or bought anything. We were very happy with the results and hope you found some things you will enjoy.

Don’t forget we accept donations all year. For your safety, please drop donations off at the circulation desk during open hours: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

We no longer accept VHS tapes, sets of encyclopedias or textbooks. Please do not bring torn, dirty, marked or written-in items. We can’t get odors such as smoke, mildew or mold out of books. If you want to know if you have a book that has monetary value before donating it, we suggest you start with bookfinder.com.

Our next sale will be in October.
