Catasauqua: Youth raise awareness to fight hunger

Once again, the youth at Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., will be taking part in a 30-hour famine to raise awareness and funds to fight hunger through World Vision. The famine starts noon April 19.

The youth group will also be sponsoring an Easter egg hunt 1 p.m. April 20 for ages 2-6. The event will be held in the grassy area at the church but will be inside if there is inclement weather.

Seven- to 10-year-old children will be inside decorating Easter gingerbread houses and will receive a goody bag.

For more information, call or text Diane at 610-739-6006.
