The social hall at Ebenezer United Church of Christ, New Tripoli, was filled with anticipation as penny party players gathered April 6 seeking to win a variety of prizes.
Chairwoman for the event was Anna Lou Fritzinger. Eileen Breininger arranged a basket raffle for the same day.
“It’s a lot of work but fun,” Breininger told The Press.
A special breakfast basket cost a $1 per chance.
