Mr. and Mrs. Michael Diffenderfer of Columbia, Lancaster County, announce the engagement of their daughter, Katlyn, to Kyle Sorensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Sorensen of New Tripoli, Lynn Township.

The bride-elect is a 2010 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School and a 2014 graduate of DeSales University, Center Valley, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Exercise and, in 2017, a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Her fiance is a 2011 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School and a 2015 graduate of DeSales University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Exercise and, in 2018, a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

The couple is planning September nuptials.
