The Whitehall boys tennis team is once again rolling up the wins, earning their seventh victory of the season with a sweep of Pen Argyl last Saturday.
They defeated the Green Knights 5-0 in a nonleague match.
At No. 1 singles, Nick Rohn defeated Brendan McMahon, 6-2, 6-3. Nick Demjan kept pace at No. 2 singles, downing Aiden McMahon in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3. Josh Mallory prevailed in a first set tiebreaker over Jayson Corsetti, winning 7-6. He closed out the match in the second set, winning 6-1.

To complete the sweep, Serge Kasparian and Dan Labram were victorious against Liam Giraldo and John Anthony Vanic, 6-2, 6-2.
They also prevailed against Easton last week, winning 5-1 over the Red Rovers.
In that win, all three singles players won in straight sets. Rohn topped Ethan Gabay 6-3, 6-0, while Demjan prevailed against Neil Gilbert 6-2, 6-3, and Mallory took care of Jake Cabreza, 6-0, 7-5.
In doubles, Dan Jablonski and Lim defeated the pair of Jack Joseph and Joe Torrato 6-2, 6-3, while Josh Laky and partner Serge Kasparian defeated Nick Erdley and Mike Martyak 6-2, 6-2.
The Zephs also met Freedom last week, and the Patriots proved to be a tough match. Freedom is currently 4-4 and they won five of the six matches against Whitehall. Their lone winner was Rohn who prevailed in a gritty three-setter, 6-4, 5-7, 6-4.
Rohn has now won six singles matches this season at the No. 1 spot. The Zephyrs have continued to get consistent play from all the singles players, allowing them to be firmly entrenched in the middle of the standings in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference at 7-3.
This week the Zephs will play Allentown Central Catholic, Northampton and Parkland.
