April 10

Crime Victims Council of the Lehigh Valley’s Annual Victims’ Rights Vigil will be held 6 p.m. at the Memorial Tree of Life Grove, 3310 Chestnut Drive, Allentown. In case of inclement weather, there is a rain date scheduled 6 p.m. April 11. This year, Crime Victims Council of Lehigh Valley will commemorate this special week’s theme – “Honoring Our Past, Creating Hope for the Future.” The annual Allied Professional Awards for Lehigh and Northampton counties will be presented to Ralph Romano, Domestic Violence Detective of Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office and Alyssa Barasch of Bethlehem Area School District, who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to victims’ services. This event will be open to the public free of charge. Victim-survivors will speak about how their lives have been impacted by crime and a bell ceremony will be held in memory of loved ones taken from their families by violence. April 13

Annual egg hunt and family activities 11 a.m. for children ages one through 12 at Grace Community Church, 1290 Minesite Road, Allentown. Children will be separated by age for the hunt. Refreshments will follow.

April 14

Annual Easter Egg Drop for children ages two through sixth grade at Horizon Church, 2613 W. South St., Allentown. Alburtis Area 55+ seniors meet noon at Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Quarry Road # 1, Alburtis. Meeting includes pot luck luncheon and bingo. Many bus trips are planned. For more information, call 610-966-4996.

Kiwanis Club of Emmaus 67th annual Easter Egg Hunt 1 p.m. at Emmaus Community Park, 13th and Broad streets, Emmaus. There are five age groups, toddlers through age 10 with prizes for numbered eggs collected. The Easter Bunny will also attend. For more information, call 610-395-4818 or visit www.EmmausKiwanis.org.

Emmanuel Assembly of God, 1431 Lehigh Parkway East, Allentown, will host a free community egg hunt 10:15 a.m. Over 5,000 eggs, face painting, balloon animals, prizes and giveaways are included in the event. For more information, contact Pastor Caleb at PastorCalebCook@Gmail.com.

Community breakfast and Easter Egg hunt at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 8227 Hamilton Blvd., Breinigsville. Breakfast starts 9 a.m. and is open to everyone with a freewill donation or a nonperishable food item for a food bank donation. The egg hunt begins 10 a.m. There will be five age groups, infant through age 12.

Upper Milford Historical Society meeting 7 p.m. at the Upper Milford Township Building, Old Zionsville. Ed Quinter will present “The Story of the Liberty Bell” and its historic journey to safety. All are welcome and refreshments will be provided. For more information, call 610-966-4376.

Harry S Truman Elementary School, 1400 Gaskill Ave., spring craft and vendor fair 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Included will be a basket raffle, 50/50 raffle, bake sale and food for sale. There is a small entrance fee for all adults. The event is sponsored by the PTO.

April 28
