Favorite subject: My favorite subject is anything music related because I am so passionate about it and strive to improve at drumming every day.

Activities: Advanced Jazz Combo, percussion ensemble, contemporary music ensemble, jazz ensemble, pit orchestra, wind ensemble, member of Tri-M Music Honors Society

Next steps: I plan to attend a four-year university to pursue a dual degree in jazz studies/jazz performance and business.

Career goals: Become a free-lance musician while working for a company full time in a business-related field

Heroes: My family has been such a huge inspiration to me. They have all stuck by my side through thick and thin and have supported me through everything. My family has made every effort to be at every performance I’ve ever had, for which I am forever grateful.

Hobbies: Playing percussion, listening to/analyzing different styles of music, hanging with friends and eating

Current job(s): I am the drummer/percussionist for a band that plays during the Contemporary Worship Service at the First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem every Sunday. I am also a member of a jazz/funk trio that plays weekly at a local brewery.

Volunteer/community work: I play at as many local charity events as I can and partake in performances for numerous fundraising events.

Likes: I enjoy music, football and food.

Dislikes: I hate not having enough time in the day to do all of the things I enjoy.

Greatest accomplishment (so far): Having had the opportunity to play at countless gigs for numerous diverse bands, groups and ensembles

Advice for peers: Be willing to fail in order to succeed. Never take any moment for granted.
