Coplay Borough has special events planned to commemorate the 150th anniversary. The library is helping to mark this milestone by displaying Coplay items.
If you have any photographs, mementos or keepsakes of Coplay, we would love to borrow them to display. Anything you could tell us about the objects would also be a great help.
We will display your name with the items if you wish.
During the month of April, we will be highlighting the 1969 centennial and subsequent important historical events.

If you haven’t received your new library card, come in and register.
Bring your driver’s license or photo ID and your Coplay library card and any other library cards you have. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent.
You will get a colorful new full-size library card and a keychain card. This card will allow you to check out and return items at 11 local libraries in Lehigh and Carbon counties. You can also request a book or other resource from one of the libraries and receive it more quickly than in the past.
The registration process will take a few minutes, and you will be ready to explore the new Lehigh Carbon Library Cooperative world!
