Several former Salisbury Township High School athletes have already begun spring sports at the college level.

Bloomsburg junior pitcher/infielder Chad Cooperman has been solid on the mound to open the spring season. He’s pitched in four games for the Huskies already, posting a 2-1 record with a save. The former Falcon has a 3.60 ERA and 26 strikeouts with just seven walks. Cooperman has pitched at least five innings in three of his four games, and is batting .133 with four RBIs in the early going.

Moravian senior infielder Evan Kulig has picked up this season where he left off in 2018. Through 16 games this spring, Kulig is batting .377 with 12 runs scored and 10 RBIs. He’s also one of the Greyhounds’ top pitchers, with a 2-1 record to go with a 4.33 ERA and 29 strikeouts. He’s 5-3 for his career with two saves, posting a 5.05 ERA and 66 strikeouts. In the batters box, he’s tallied 86 career RBIs and 79 runs scored.

Fellow Greyhound senior Chase Rogers has come on strong lately for the school’s baseball team as well. After not playing in the team’s first 12 games, Rogers is hitting .600 with three runs scored and three RBIs over his past three contests. The Greyhounds are currently 9-7 and a solid 5-2 in Landmark Conference play.

Penn State senior infielder Meghan Williams is as solid of an infielder you’ll find in the Big Ten. She’s posted a .975 field percentage thus far through 23 games. At the plate, Williams is hitting .170 with four runs scored and three RBIs. She’s coming off a season where she batted .264 with a .292 slugging percentage.

Williams’ teammate, freshman outfielder Lilia Crouthamel, has appeared in 11 games and started in three for the Nittany Lions. She is batting .091, has scored two runs and stolen two bases. She has a perfect 1.00 fielding percentage.

The West Chester track and field team opened its outdoor season over the weekend with the annual Golden Ram Invitational. Holly Szita, a senior jumper, placed second in the high jump event with a mark of 1.53 meters.
