Fullerton: Drive-thru chicken dinner is April 4

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., will be having a drive-thru chicken dinner 4:30-6:30 p.m. April 4 prepared by Fairview House Catering.

The meal includes half of a chicken, vegetable, baked potato, coleslaw, roll with butter and dessert.

Tickets will be sold at the parish office and after all Masses March 30 and 31. Advanced tickets are a must. Only 250 tickets will be sold.

To pick up, drive into the parking lot and your order will be handed to you.

St. Elizabeth’s Golden Agers group will hold its next monthly meeting 12:30 p.m. April 5 in the parish hall. The anniversary dinner tickets will go on sale at this meeting. This year’s event will be held at City View Diner.

St. Elizabeth’s will be having its 11th annual Night at the Races April 6. The doors open 5:30 p.m., and races begin 6:30 p.m.

The price includes chicken tenders, pork barbecue sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, ring bologna and cheese, chips, pretzels and adult refreshments. Other beverages are BYOB.

Fullerton American Legion Post 367, 609 Fullerton Ave., will hold a ham raffle 1-4 p.m. April 7. You must be at least 21 years of age to attend.

There will be food 1-3 p.m. as well as refreshments.
