Christ’s Church at Lowhill, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, New Tripoli, held its first St. Patty’s dinner March 16 in their social hall.
Sue Heffner, head chef, and her kitchen crew, prepared 32 pounds of corned beef, 25 heads of cabbage, 25 pounds of potatoes, 18 pounds of carrots and lots of horseradish sauce.
Members of the congregation donated cakes, pies, cookies, brownies and Jell-O desserts.
