Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., will hold a free lunch for the community March 30.

Lunch begins 11 a.m. and closes 12:30 p.m.

Boy Scout Troop 94 will be holding a breakfast 8 a.m.-1 p.m. March 31 at the Catasauqua American Legion, 330 Second St.

The breakfast includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, coffee, tea, milk and orange juice.

For the first meeting of the new garden season, Fred Buse will take the Catasauqua Garden Club on a tour of Japanese gardens.

The meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m. April 3 at the Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua.

Gardeners with artistic and horticultural displays should have them in place before the meeting begins.

Garden-friendly visitors and the merely curious are always invited.
