NORTH WHITEHALL: Men of Union UCC cooking pasta dinner
The men’s group of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, will host a spaghetti dinner 5-7 p.m. March 30.
The all-you-can-eat meal includes spaghetti with meatballs or sausage, salad, bread, dessert and beverage.
Tickets will be available at the door.
Proceeds will go to Family Promise of Lehigh Valley, an organization committed to improving the lives of homeless children and families.
The goal is to provide meals, lodging and mentorship while the families work toward achieving stability.
Miller-Keystone Blood Center will be set up from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 24 at Union UCC.
All donors will receive a free pint of soup prepared by church chefs.
Those who are unable to donate blood may contribute with the purchase of soup which will be available in different varieties.
On March 24, Union UCC will have a Lenten celebration starting at noon. Lunch will be available, followed by time for a spring basket craft project.
The following Sunday, March 31, singer Alathea, from out of the area, will be present at the 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services with original music and arrangements of favorite hymns.

The Family Life Center of Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, will become a polling location beginning with the May 2019 Primary Election.
The Family Life Center will replace the Schnecksville Grange voting site.
Union Lutheran will celebrate the “Life of Grandparenthood” on March 31.
Grandparents and grandchildren will be honored at the 10:30 a.m. worship service and invited for lunch and activities afterward in the Family Life Center.

The Keenagers seniors group of St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, will meet 1 p.m. March 19. All are welcome to join the group.
St. John’s offers some fun on March 31, with an afternoon of Friendly Family Feud starting at 1 p.m.
The goal is to have eight teams with five players on each. Participants are not limited to church members and do not have to be related.
