STUDENT OF THE WEEK

Q: What grade are you in?

A: I am currently a senior at Salisbury High School.

Q: What is your favorite subject? Why?

A: My favorite subject is math and I’ve always liked math since elementary school.

Q: Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A: My sophomore year I was inducted into National Honor Society and became a member of the varsity soccer team.

Q: Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?

A: I am a member of Class Advisory, National Honor Society and the varsity soccer team.

Q: What is your next goal after high school?

A: After high school I plan to go to Lehigh Carbon Community College for two years and then transfer to another college for my last two years.

Q: What would you say your biggest challenge has been so far?

A: My biggest challenge so far was the balance between soccer, school work and my social life. You have to make sure to keep up with your school work and not let sports bring your academics down. I learned that I need to plan out my schedule better and not procrastinate.

Q: What do you want to be remembered for?

A: I want to be remembered for my hard work. I always tried my best in everything I did and I never gave up.

Q: Who is in your family?

A: My family consists of my father Craig, mother Aimee and older sister Emily.

Q: Do you have someone you look up to?

A: I look up to both my parents and my sister. My parents both always do the best for me and try to do whatever they can do to help me. They have always been very supportive with sports, school and life in general. My sister is someone I can look up to because she always has advice for me and helps me with anything I need.

Q: Do you have any advice for your peers?

A: My advice for my peers is to always help others and be the best person you can be. You should also always try to balance out your school work with your life.
