An unknown person removed a Gucci purse and an HP laptop from a vehicle parked at the South Mall, 3300 Lehigh St. The incident was reported 9:29 a.m. March 7. The value of items taken is $1,200.

A student at Salisbury Middle School removed a food item from the cafeteria without paying for it 3 p.m. March 7.

Police were alerted to an alleged theft of $40,000 from a victim’s father 2:27 a.m. March 11. Police are investigating.

A patient at Manor Care Health Services, 1265 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., reported 1:38 p.m. March 12, the theft of $400 in a locked nightstand. Police are investigating.

Zachariah Schantz, 34, of Easton, was charged with simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief following an alleged incident March 8 in the 1700 block of East Susquehanna Street. Schantz was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Kyle Wenner, 30, of Emmaus, was charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct following an alleged incident at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., 6:06 p.m. March 9.

Stacy Harper, 54, of Salisbury, was charged with simple assault and terroristic threats following an alleged incident in the 1100 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard, 9:02 p.m. March 9. After an evaluation at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest, Harper was taken to Central Booking for processing.

A 37-year-old woman, of Allentown, was charged with suspicion of driving while under the influence following an accident in the 700 block of South 24th Street 8:03 a.m. March 10. The car she was driving went off the road, through a yard and then hit a utility pole. She was taken to Central Booking for processing.

A 54-year-old man, of Salisbury, was charged with indirect criminal contempt after allegedly disregarding a protection from abuse order. He allegedly tried to contact the victim and showed up at the victim’s home where he was met by police 4:32 p.m. March 10.
