Whitehall Township Public Library: Open mic night is March 18
The third Monday open mic and jam will be held 6:30 p.m. March 18.
Thank you to Rocking the Valley Online Radio for its support. Entertainers interested in performing three songs or a 15-minute set are asked to sign up 6-6:30 p.m.
Musicians, singers, poets, comedians, actors, writers and storytellers are invited to show off your stuff, or just come and be part of the audience!

Join us March 19 for our free movie night. This month, we are showing the PG-rated movie “Ralph Breaks the Internet” starting 6 p.m.

We will help you dig into your family history by using the Ancestry, Heritage Quest and Fold3 databases to search for records and documents. The free program will be held 6-8 p.m. March 21.
The Fold3 website provides convenient access to military records, including the stories, photos and personal documents of the men and women who served.
If you cannot attend, pick up the handout at the front desk after March 21 or ask Patty or Jim for help.

Remember to turn in your adult winter reading log by 5 p.m. March 23.
There will be a wrap-up party 1 p.m. or 6 p.m. March 26. You choose what time you can attend the party. At the wrap-up party, we will hand out small prizes and books to any program participant who reads at least one book.

Jolie Chylack, with Lehigh County Conservation District, will present the Buckets Full of Nature: Space Rocks program 1 p.m. April 3.
Explore the mysterious rocks that travel through outer space. After reading stories, creating art projects and experimenting, children will go home ready to “read” the night sky in a whole new way.

Mark your calendar for 10 a.m. April 13 and 6:30 p.m. April 18 for the return of a popular program on how to sell your items on eBay.
Patty Vahey, library director, will present the basics of eBay use so that you can learn how to list your items, ship them and get paid.
The program is just in time for spring cleaning.

Whitehall Township Public Library will be collecting items for the Helping Hearts and Handbags program.
The goal is to gather purses and wallets to be given to women in shelters or the homeless. Each purse is filled with toiletries, socks, gloves, etc. Please donate small toiletries, gloves, socks, toothbrushes, women’s products, purses, women’s wallets, etc.
