Are you a dog lover? If so, think about assisting the Catasauqua High School football team help dogs in need. The team is currently collecting donations for Lehigh County Humane Society.

Items being collected are dog food, crates, dog toys and peanut butter. All donations can be dropped off at the high school main office until March 15.

Catasauqua Area School District’s building and grounds department is looking for summer applicants who want to work five hours a day, four days a week. Application packets are now available in the CHS guidance office.

The deadline to submit your resume and completed application is March 20. Interviews will be conducted during school hours during the week of March 25.

CHS’ Drama Club is excited to take you on a cruise this year! “Anything Goes” is set aboard the ocean liner S.S. American, where nightclub singer/evangelist Reno Sweeney is en route from New York to England. Her pal Billy Crocker has stowed away to be near his love, Hope Harcourt, but the problem is Hope is engaged to the wealthy Lord Evelyn Oakleigh.

Joining this love triangle on board the luxury liner are Public Enemy No. 13, Moon Face Martin and his sidekick-in-crime Bonnie. With the help of some elaborate disguises, tap-dancing sailors and sailorettes, with good old-fashioned blackmail, Reno and Martin join forces to help Billy in his quest to win Hope’s heart.

Performances will be held 7 p.m. March 21-23 and 2 p.m. March 24.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students/seniors/children. All ticket sales are final (no refunds or exchanges). Everyone, regardless of age, requires a ticket to attend a performance.

There is still time to purchase your prom ticket for the CHS junior/senior prom May 10 at Woodstone Country Club, Danielsville. Tickets will be available until April 1 at a cost of $75 per ticket.
