EMMAUS POLICE

Joshua Thomas Brown, 30, of Wescosville, was arrested Feb. 24 for allegedly driving under the influence and a stop sign violation on South Seventh Street, according to Emmaus police. He was transported to the Lehigh County DUI Center and processed.

William Howey, 43, of Easton, was arrested Feb. 27 for allegedly driving under the influence in the 400 block of State Avenue, according to Emmaus police. He was transported to the Lehigh County DUI Center and processed.

Brandi Cecelia Cox, 25, of Emmaus, was arrested Feb. 18 for alleged possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Emmaus police.

A 16-year-old male, of Alburtis, was arrested Feb. 11 for possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at Emmaus High School, 500 Macungie Ave., according to Emmaus police.

An unknown person scratched both sides of a Toyota Sienna minivan, causing $200 damage. The incident was reported March 5 in the 500 block of Liberty Street.

An unknown person removed a snowblower, valued at $800 from a porch. The theft was reported March 2 in the 200 block of North Street.

Multiple vehicles along North Second, North Third, West Spruce, East Spruce and Pine streets were entered Feb. 24, according to Emmaus police. Thefts were reported from two of the vehicles and six vehicles were rummaged through but no losses were reported. The Emmaus Police Department reminds citizens to not keep valuables in their vehicles and to lock their vehicle doors.
