District News: Pictures taken March 14 at George Wolf Elementary
George Wolf Elementary School will have its spring picture day March 14. Spring photos are optional to purchase, but all students must have their photo taken. Parents/guardians will be able to view them and decide on purchasing options.

The 2019 Northampton Area High School spring musical, “Mary Poppins,” will be presented March 21-24. Show times are 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

The Empty Bowls event will be held 5-7:30 p.m. March 28 in the cafeteria of Northampton Area Middle School. Proceeds from the event will help feed the hungry and raise awareness of food insecurity.

Northampton Area School District will be holding a Title I family night “escape room” event 6-7:30 p.m. April 3 in the multi-purpose room of the Siegfried building. Find the clues, solve the puzzles and escape the room. Reading and math will lead the way.
A free night of fun for elementary families, there will be a photo booth, escape room, raffles, prizes, snacks, math, English/language arts, fun and more!
Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Lehigh Elementary presents Sunday storytime each evening beginning 7 p.m. A Lehigh staff member will be reading a favorite book. This is a great weekly event for families to enjoy.

This summer, NASD will once again be offering Camp Invention for students in grades 2-5 and 6-9. Registration is underway.

Just a reminder for parents and guardians, please be sure to bring a photo identification with you every time you visit any of the district schools. The district does not want to inconvenience you if you arrive without the proper identification. ID is required any time you are picking up your child, meeting with a staff member or leaving the main office for any reason. The district thanks you for helping keep a safe environment for all the students at the schools. For the safety of all students, please make sure to follow all traffic guidelines during arrival and dismissals throughout the district.

Northampton Area Konkrete Kids Educational Foundation is continuing its Buy a Brick fundraiser. Support the foundation by having your name engraved on a brick paver that will be placed within the plaza outside the entrance of Al Erdosy Stadium and the district swimming pool, adjacent to the back of the NAHS parking lot.
Included in this area are the bus loop and memorial plaza. This area is the center of the secondary campus outside the stadium and is open to the public.
