Wear green March 15 in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day.

The high school orientation for eighth-grade parents and students is March 18. The tours run 5:45-6:15 p.m., and the meeting begins 6:30 p.m.

There will be a PTF meeting 7-8 p.m. March 19 in the library.

During the month of March, CMS is collecting money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society through the Pennies for Patients campaign. Homerooms are battling for a chance to win a party sponsored by Olive Garden.

Students also have a chance to vote for the teachers they would like to see participate in an inflatable sumo wrestling tournament. Students can place their money in the teachers’ boxes during lunch.

There will be an eighth-grade formal bingo fundraiser March 23 at Slovak Center Social Club, 1223 Fifth St., North Catasauqua. Doors open 3:30 p.m., and bingo starts 4:30 p.m.

Dinner is included with the ticket price. Tickets can only be purchased in advance and are cash only.

There will also be a 50/50 raffle and Chinese auction.

All profits help fund the eighth-grade formal.
