All aboard!

The Allentown Train Meet Association recently celebrated its 40th year at the Allentown Fairgrounds Agri-Plex.

Hundreds of tables were filled with a large variety of model trains with the iconic Lionel brand the most prevalent.

Prices ranged from just a few dollars for small parts up to the thousand dollar range for highly collectible and desirable train engines.

ATMA members set up a large train display in the complex, much to the delight of children and adults alike.

One platform was dedicated to N gauge trains, the next smallest model trains commercially available.

N gauge is a 1:160 scale train with a 9 mm (0.354 inch) width between the rails.

O and HO gauge trains were also on display.
