The music department of the Lehigh Valley Charter HS for the Arts (Charter Arts) will hold its annual Music Faculty Recital Friday, March 15 at 7 p.m. in the Charter Arts Theatre located at 321 East Third St. in Bethlehem. The recital is free and open to the public.

The evening will include a variety of classical, jazz, and contemporary performances. Faculty performers include Matthew Wells, David Macbeth, Chet Brown, Neil Chaban, Kim Seifert, Thomas Maher, Kelsey Kish, Erica Dickson, Amy Chryst and Mike Lorenz.

“This event allows us to open our doors and provide entertainment for the community and to highlight our acclaimed faculty,” said Matthew Wells, artistic director of music. “Charter Arts music faculty members are all working professional musicians as well as educators. These dedicated professionals have performed on some of the most prestigious stages with some of the most important figures and ensembles. These artists bring not only their musical expertise to our students but also practical experience in real-world situations.”

“We hope music lovers of all ages will come out and join us and we especially invite those young musicians who are interested in learning more about our Charter Arts music family,” Wells added.
