Moravian College has announced it will award a two-year, full tuition community scholarship to one Northampton Community College student and one Lehigh Carbon Community College student wishing to continue their education in the fall. NCC and LCCC students earning their associate degree in May are eligible to apply for the scholarship(s) available through their respective schools.
“We value our strong partnerships with both Northampton Community College and Lehigh Carbon Community College,” Bryon Grigsby, president of Moravian College, said. “We are thrilled to be providing these deserving students with the opportunity to finish their degrees at Moravian.”
Moravian College regularly welcomes over 130 transfer students to campus each academic year from community colleges, as well as other four year institutions from around the state, around the country and around the world. This community scholarship will be awarded annually and is intended to help deserving students earn their bachelor’s degree.
“Our transfer students are dynamic and they excel academically,” Erika Mondok, director of transfer enrollment at Moravian College, said. “Not only do our transfer students perform well in the classroom, but they also positively impact our campus community in a multitude of ways.”
