Catasauqua Community Cares Program is hosting a string art workshop fundraiser run by Just Stringing Around: string art by Lisa at Catasauqua High School, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton. The event will be held 12:30-3:30 p.m. March 9.

Enjoy an afternoon making an amazing project while helping C3P to raise money for children for meals on the weekends and holidays. Light refreshments will be available.

The boards are already stained and nailed. There will be many string colors to choose from.

Tickets are $10 in advance with the remaining $27 balance due in cash the day of the event.

Kaman’s Art Shoppes Inc. is hiring students interested in drawing, photography or painting to work at Dorney Park in Allentown. You would be trained to airbrush T-shirts, take photos, draw caricatures, face paint, apply henna tattoos and jewelry and use woodcutting skills.

Tickets are now on sale for CHS’ junior/senior prom, scheduled for May 10 at Woodstone Country Club in Danielsville. Prom tickets will be on sale until April 1 and can be purchased from Miss LaBar in room B223 during homeroom, mod 1 or mod 3.
